The front fascia carries majority of the changes.
Team BHP member, Vishal Mhatre, snapped these images of the Hyundai Verna facelift in Pune. As can be seen, the car is devoid of any camouflage, and is identical in looks to the Solaris facelift that was introduced in Russia this year.
Designers have given the sedan a new look at the front. A dual-slat chrome grille, redesigned headlights with projector beams and a new bumper with integrated LED daytime running lights (not seen on this particular car, but available on the Russian model) are the major design changes that have been carried out.
The rear gets a new bumper with redesigned reflectors and a black apron, and the taillights are likely to use LED elements. There are no further changes to the exterior or even the interior of the refreshed Verna.

Like the current model, Hyundai would continue to offer the Verna with a range of engines. The sedan can be had with 1.4- and 1.6-liter petrol and diesel engines, and the more powerful 1.6-liter units can be specced with a 4-speed automatic transmission as well. It is in the gearbox department where Hyundai could choose to upgrade the 4-speed AT to a more efficient 6-speed automatic transmission.
