The third generation Hyundai Tucson has been spied testing in Brazil ahead of an expected H2 2016 market launch, courtesy Autos Segredos. The new generation Hyundai Tucson will go on sale in August and be positioned below the Hyundai Santa Fe according to Brazilian dealers.
The third generation Hyundai Tucson, unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, measures 4,475 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width and 1,645 mm (1,650 mm with roof rails) in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,670 mm. The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is offered with a variety of naturally aspirated and turbocharged petrol and diesel engines globally, with displacements ranging from 1.6- to 2.0-litre. Transmission choices include 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The all-new Tucson is available in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models globally.

Noteworthy features of the 2016 Hyundai Tucson include twin LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, LED tail lights, twin exhaust pipes, silver skid plates, 4.2-inch driver information display, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with satellite navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats with 8-way electric adjustment, Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking), BSD (Blind Spot Detection), LKAS (Lane Departure Warning System with Lane Keep Assist), SCL (Static Cornering Lights) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
The Tucson is expected to launch in India in the festive season period.
