An AWD system is available in select configurations.
Cascading grille, split headlight setup with LED primary lights and LED DRLs, 18-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, power sunroof, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, colour head-up display, wireless smartphone charging, KRELL premium sound system, Blind-Spot Collision Warning and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning are some of the key features of the Kona. The premium small SUV competes with the likes of Honda HR-V, Toyota C-HR and Mazda CX-3.
Hyundai has no plans to launch the Kona in India. However, the company will bring its zero-emissions, battery-powered variant called Hyundai Kona Electric to the country next year. It will import the EV via the CKD route and assemble the kits in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
