To go on sale in India next year.
A Hyundai ix25 compact SUV was spotted in South Korea recently. The car is identified as one of the top-end models as it sports projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, alloy wheels, foglights and a triple-slat chrome grille. However, there will be a variant above this with a dual-slat chrome grille called the ix25 Sport.
The ix25's first market will be China, where it is reported to go on sale on October 9. For the Chinese market, the SUV will be powered by 1.6- and 2.0-liter gasoline engines paired to 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. While the base variants will send power to the front wheels, the top-end variants will get a 4WD system.
