Will arrive later this year.
Last year, it was reported that Hyundai will offer the third generation Hyundai i30 in three body styles: 5-door hatchback, 5-door estate and a 5-door coupe. With the 5-door hatchback and 5-door estate already out, Hyundai is working on the coupe version of the car.
The all-new Hyundai i30 spin-off appeared in first spy shots with a fastback styling earlier this month, and based on that, Shoeb Kalania has portrayed his imagination of the future model in a rendering. Except for the fastback roofline, the new version likely won't have significantly different changes. What Hyundai intends to do with this derivative is offer a cheap alternative to premium compact cars like the Mercedes CLA.
Like the exterior, the interior too should mimic that of the rest of the Hyundai i30 family. On that note, dual-zone climate control, an 8-inch floating display for the infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging and heated front seats with 10-way electric adjustment for the driver's seat should form the car's interior highlights.

The Hyundai i30 Fastback should have the same engine options as the Hyundai i30 which is offered with 1.4-litre naturally aspirated, 1.0-litre turbocharged and 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engines and 1.6-litre diesel engine. Transmission choices should include 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch, with front-wheel drive remaining as the standard drivetrain layout.
