Exclusive to the Indonesian market for now.
After a leaked set of posters revealed the Grand i10X for the first time, Hyundai has finally launched the model in the Indonesian market, starting from Rp 155,500,000 (INR 7.46 lakhs). It will be one of the first hatchback-based pseudo crossovers in the market, thus forming a new segment that could prompt other manufacturers to follow suit.
Exterior wise, the Hyundai Grand i10X comes with extended black plastic lower bumpers with integrated silver skid plates, foglamps that also feature strips of LED DRLs, side extensions, a chrome exhaust tip, black element covering the C-Pillar for a "floating roof" impression, and a roof spoiler. The increased ground clearance thanks to higher profile tyres also adds to the rugged appeal of the car.
Inside, the only standard interior change is the silver bezel ornament on the leather-wrapped steering wheel. Otherwise it’s identical to the standard Grand i10, which comes equipped with a console-mounted gear shift lever, a 2-DIN MP3 player with 4 speakers, USB and AUX-in ports, driver-seat height adjustment, cooled glovebox and 256 liters of boot space.
The only engine on the Grand i10X is a 1.2L Kappa dual VTVT petrol engine from the standard model, generating 83 PS at 6,000 rpm and 116 Nm at 4,000 RPM. It is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission only.

The Grand i10 for Indonesia is manufactured in India (the European i10 that is made differs vastly in specification), and any variant or derivative would be exported from the Chennai plant, which brings about a realistic possibility of its introduction in our country.
