Features a new design interpretation of Hyundai's hexagonal grille.
Hyundai has presented the Enduro concept at the Seoul Motor Show 2015. The Enduro, derived from the word Endurance, is designed to combine an SUV look with that of a rally motorcycle, the manufacturer said in a statement.
Hyundai says the target audience for the Enduro is individuals "living in the modern city with energetic, athletic lifestyles". The concept portrays a new interpretation of Hyundai's hexagonal grille, which is now positioned much lower in the bumper for a lower center of gravity.
The Enduro features a raised ground clearance, chunky cladding for the wheel arches, 'aerodynamic' air-blades for the C-Pillars and side skirts with step bars.
Inside, the Enduro gets a driver-centric cabin with "horizontal and vertical elements, which express sportiness, toughness and endurance". The design of the steering wheel is inspired by the spoke and handle molding of a road bike, while the door handles have the cowl image of an off-road bike, according to Hyundai.
Commenting on the boot, Hyundai says it features drawer-style compartments that can accommodate a wide range of lifestyle sports equipment. Further details are available in the press release below the gallery.
