Besides the Hyundai Creta Sport, Hyundai will launch an adventure-styled Hyundai Creta X in Brazil, local reports suggest. IAB's Shoeb Kalania has created a rendering of the Hyundai Creta X to preview what the adventure variant could bring in style and utility.
The Hyundai Creta X has a two-tone exterior scheme in metallic light blue and metallic black shades. Rally car-inspired dirt graphics with a large "X" logo are present on the door panels. The front bumper, grilles and ORVMs are in gloss black to go with a two-tone colour theme. Smaller, gloss black alloy wheels replace the 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The smaller wheels are shod with beefier tyres made for off-roading which extend outside the fenders. Up top, cross bars are fitted to hold a roof box.
The standard Hyundai Creta is available with Gamma 1.6-litre Dual CVVT and Nu 2.0-litre Dual CVVT flex-fuel engines. The Hyundai Creta X should get the latter as standard. This engine produces 166 cv (166 hp) and 20.5 kgf.m (201.04 Nm of torque). A 6-speed manual transmission should send power to the wheels. A four-wheel drive system would make sense for the X variant, although there's no word on its availability.

Since 2015, Hyundai India has sold special editions and feature-enhanced versions of the Creta but has shown no interest for sportier or off-road specials.
