Will be launched on July 21, 2015.
Undisguised images of the Hyundai Creta have emerged on Team BHP, whose launch is confirmed in India on July 21, 2015.
As per a newspaper report, the Creta entered production at the Chennai plant on June 20, 2015, with petrol and diesel motors coupled to manual and automatic gearboxes. Engines are expected to be borrowed from the Verna and include the 1.4- and 1.6-liter diesel engines paired to a 6-speed manual transmission, and the 1.6-liter VTVT petrol that is driven through a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Creta is a global compact SUV featuring a “bold front, voluminous side and sporty rear”. It launches first in India, and then worldwide, which could include regions in Europe, Africa, Australia, South East Asia and even the United States if demand is forecast.
