According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the Honda CB Unicorn has already crossed the 1,00,000 sales milestone since its launch in the third week of December 2014. The average sales per month is pegged at 13,500-15,600 units.
The Honda CB Unicorn has found most of its owners in Maharashtra (top-selling state), Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. Honda is proud of the CB Unicorn's achievement, given the segment dominance of products like the Bajaj Pulsar and Yamaha FZ.
Powering the Honda CB Unicorn 160 is an air-cooled 163 cc engine that delivers 14.5 hp and 14.6 Nm torque. The premium commuter offering claims to have a fuel consumption figure of 62 km/L.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) registered 3,48,793 products sold in June 2015, which is an improvement against 3,23,136 units sold in the same month of the previous year. Export to other markets have also increased to 17,011 units in June 2015 as compared to 13,762 units exported in the same month last year.
