This variant spotted in Indonesia is the Honda S660 Concept Edition.
Honda S660 has seen stupendous success in its home market of Japan. The mini roadster, exclusive to Japan, has now made an appearance in Indonesia. Spyshots of the Kei roadster has surfaced from Jakarta via Autonetmagz.
The variant spotted is the Concept Edition that is limited to a production run of just 660 units. On the outside, the car is instantly distinguished by its Premium Star White pearl paint. Other striking elements of the exterior are the red fabric roof, dual-tone side mirrors, and two-tone turbine-style alloy wheels.
Interiors are marked by contrast red stitching and an aluminium plaque connecting the transmission tunnel to the dashboard. Leather upholstered seats, stainless steel pedals and a Honda Internavi infotainment system round up the description.
The engine is mounted at the rear of the car, and drives the rear wheels. Power to the S660 is supplied by a 660 cc, twin-cam, three-cylinder turbocharged unit producing 64 bhp and a peak torque of 104 Nm. The model spotted has a CVT gearbox, but there is also an option of a 6-speed manual transmission.
The S660 is loaded with features and comes with LED headlights, keyless entry, push button start, cruise control and City-Brake active system.
The website reports that, according to the importer, the roadster doesn’t come cheap as it is a limited edition. The price for this S660 Concept Edition is around Rp. 800 million (INR 37,97,818).
