It seems Honda has quickly developed an answer to the (Maruti) Suzuki Ertiga Sporty which was launched day before yesterday in Indonesia. Meet the Honda Mobilio RS, which for all visual purposes is the sportiest version of the MPV.
The front fascia is characterized by newly detailed headlights (which seem to feature LED lights and projector headlamps), a twin chrome grille, a sportier bumper, honeycomb mesh for the airdam and a bumper spoiler lip. Over to the side, the Mobilio RS wears skirts and redesigned alloy wheels (dimension wise, its the same 15-inch wheels as the regular Mobilio we are told).
The rear end of the Mobilio RS sees a massive roof spoiler, an 'RS' badge and a modified bumper with a lip spoiler and a chrome strip for the reflectors. We notice two design cuts present on the rear fender as well, which are not otherwise seen on the regular Mobilio.
Our friends at Autonetmagz inform us that the car was spotted at Honda's Indonesian factory in Karawang, West Java. Honda would offer this version as the top-end trim on the MPV very soon, above the Mobilio Prestige, we are told.
