To be launched in January 2015.
The Honda CB Unicorn 160 which is touted to be the successor to the slow selling CB Trigger has been caught undisguised by Power Drift during its TV commercial shoot, hinting that the launch is around the corner.
The 160 cc motorcycle which was also spied earlier is Honda's contender to fight the Yamaha FZ FI V2.0 and Suzuki Gixxer. While its competitors bet on their muscular looks, the CB Unicorn 160 seems to rely on comfort and cost instead.
The bikini fairing sports a sharp design while the fuel tank is a little tame in comparison to its rivals. The seat is long enough to accommodate the rider and pillion comfortably and there is a stylish saree guard with plastic inserts. Previous spyshots revealed the motorcycle's fully digital instrument console.
Displacing around 160 cc, the new single-cylinder air-cooled engine is likely to employ a traditional carburetor (there is no visible 'PGM-FI' sticker anywhere on the motorcycle). Power output is expected to be in the 15-16 bhp region.

The CB Unicorn 160 adopts the familiar telescopic fork (front) and monoshock (rear) suspension setups. Just like the CB Trigger, the new Honda would offer a standard front disc and an optional rear disc.
