Honda Indonesia is witnessing a strong demand for the newly launched Honda ADV 150 scooter. Iwanbanran reports that the production of the Honda ADV 150 has been beefed up to 10,000 units per month. The monthly production will be increased to an even bigger number next year.
Unveiled at GIIAS 2019, the Honda ADV 150 is a city-centric premium scooter which is inspired by the Honda X-ADV. At the heart of Honda ADV 150 is a 149.3 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled, SOHC, eSP (Enhanced Smart Power) engine. The powerplant is supported by an Idling Stop System for higher fuel efficiency. It produces 14.5 PS of power and 13.8 Nm of torque.
The Honda ADV 150 is suspended over standard telescopic fork up front and twin gas-charged springs at the rear. Braking duties are administered by a 240 mm petal disc at the front and a 220 mm petal unit at the rear. Combined Braking System is offered as standard, while ABS is available as an option. ADV 150 is fitted with semi-dual purpose tyres. Besides that, the Honda ADV 150 is also fitted with the safety net of ESS (Emergency Stop Signal).
Besides this, the features list includes LED headlight, 28-litre under-seat storage, LED headlamp and DC charger. Also available is all-digital instrumentation, Honda Smart Key and alarm system. Honda is also working on a bigger ADV 250 & ADV 300 for other Asian markets and Europe.

The Honda ADV 150 is priced at IDR 33.5 million (INR 1.67 lakhs) for the CBS trim and at IDR 36.5 million (INR 1.82 lakh) for the ABS trim (both prices on-road Jakarta). For such a premium price, the demand it's seeing is very impressive.
