According to Car and Driver Brasil, the Chevrolet Onix Cross, an all-road ready crossover based on the Onix hatchback, is scheduled for a launch in the second half of 2015.
The report, along with the rendering released by the publication, shows an updated front fascia that gets a new bumper with skid plate, and foglamps with piano black surround. The vehicle also gets new alloy wheels, roof rails, plastic over-fenders, and outside rear view mirrors painted in silver. On the sides, the image reveals added stickers and skirts.

On the inside, the Chevrolet Onix Cross could benefit from different upholstery as seen on the Spin Activ. The ride height will be raised, but the engine is expected to remain the 1.4-litre 4-cylinder flex-fuel motor that makes 106 hp. Gearbox choices will be a 5-speed manual as seen on the standard Onix and a 6-speed automatic.
