BMW India today launched the BMW M6 Gran Coupe in New Delhi at INR 1.75 crores (ex-Showroom). The performance oriented four-door coupe competes with the Audi RS 7 in India.
Power for the M6 Gran Coupe comes from the same engine used on the M5, a 4.4-liter V8 TwinTurbo motor producing 560 hp between 6,000-7,000 rpm and 680 Nm of torque between 1,500-5,750 rpm. Using a 7-speed M double-clutch gearbox, the M6 sends power to its rear wheels.

BMW claims the M6 will do 0-100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, an electronically limited top-speed of 250 km/h, and a fuel efficiency of 10.1 km/l (in the EU driving cycle). Safety equipment comes in form of airbags for the driver and passenger, head airbags at the front and rear, side airbags for the driver and passenger, ABS, EBD, CBC (Cornering Brake Control) and DSC (Dynamic Stability Control).
Standard features include a carbon-fiber roof, an active M differential, adaptive LED headlights, four-zone automatic climate control, head-up display, a Bang & Olufsen stereo system, 20-inch alloy wheels and BMWs iDrive with integrated navigation.
