The BMW G310R has been spied testing in India yet again, courtesy Rushlane. The G310R is already listed internationally, but India isn't among its first markets, according to several reports.
The BMW G310R is the first motorcycle from the company's collaboration with TVS Motor, as well as its first sub-500 cc roadster. The first made-in-India BMW Motorrad motorcycle entered production last month at TVS Motor's Hosur plant near Bangalore.
The BMW G310R is powered by a newly developed 313 cc water-cooled single-cylinder engine that develops 25 kW (34 PS/34 hp) at 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm and sends drive via a 6-speed transmission. The G310R has a top speed of 145 km/h. 300 mm disc brake with four-piston fixed caliper at the front and a 240 mm disc brake with single-piston floating caliper at the rear, and dual-channel ABS are standard.

The BMW G 310 R was said to be launched in India in October 2016. However, as per a recent report, the Indian launch of the G310R will take place sometime in February-March 2017. The TVS Akula 310's mechanical twin will be sold through BMW Motorrad outlets.
