Potential buyers looking to buy a premium entry-level motorcycle can avail Benelli India’s low-interest rates on the TNT 300 and the 302R models. Benelli India has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer its entry-level duo at affordable interest loans. The offer is valid for a limited period.
Buyers can get up to 80 per cent of the ex-showroom price on loan. Customers who repay the loan in 12 months are entitled to a no-cost EMI. Others who prefer to repay the amount over an extended period would have to pay:
|Loan duration||Interest rate|
|24 months||2.5 per cent|
|36 months||3.5 per cent|
|48 months||4.5 per cent|
|60 months||4.99 per cent|
Both motorcycles use the same 300cc, in-line two-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine with fuel injection that produces 38.2 PS of max power at 11,500 rpm and 26.5 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm. The motor comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
The Benelli TNT 300 is a naked roadster that competes against the likes of Kawasaki Z250, BMW G 310R and the KTM 390 Duke. The 302R, on the other hand, is a full-faired model that is aimed to go up against the Yamaha YZF-R3, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the KTM 390 Duke among others.
The TNT 300 and the 302R feature premium hardware that includes upside down forks and a monoshock suspension. Anchoring tasks are performed by dual petal type discs at the front and a single disc at the back while the safety net includes dual-channel ABS.
Benelli joined hands with the Mahavir Group to commence its second innings in the Indian Two-wheeler market and has been aggressively marketing its products. In October last year, the company has announced a 34 per cent reduction in the prices of its aftermarket services and increased maintenance intervals of its products from 4,000 km/4 months to 6,000 km/6 months.
The company plans to expand its product portfolio in the Indian market by introducing five models (new bikes and variants) by the end of 2019. The company also plans to expand its reach in the country and aims to add up to 45 dealerships this year.
