Reported to be positioned below the Bajaj Discover brand.
Bajaj teased its new motorcycle in a video yesterday, stating that the bike will contain metal from the now decommissioned INS Vikrant, India's first aircraft carrier. According to Motoroctane, the motorcycle will be called the Bajaj Valor, signifying "courage, boldness and heroism".

The report adds that the Bajaj Valor will borrow its 150 cc single-cylinder engine from the Bajaj Discover 150, and that the new bike will be positioned below the Discover. The engine in question develops 14.5 PS and 12.75 Nm of torque on the Discover and is paired to a 5-speed transmission.
The teaser video of the Bajaj Valor highlights its slender tank, and cafe-racer-inspired front-end and seat. The teaser also clearly shows 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels, a disc brake for the front, telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks for the rear. The teaser also shows a special logo highlighting the recycled metal from INS Vikrant.
The launch of the Bajaj Valor will mark the first launch for the motorcycle maker this calendar year, and eighth launch this financial year. According to reports, the 'Bajaj V' brand could later include a 125 cc offering as well.
