Will be the most powerful Bajaj Pulsar ever launched.
Citing Bajaj Auto President (Business Development & Assurance) S Ravikumar, a report said in May that the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will be launched in Q3 2016. Now, as per various reports, the the Pulsar CS400 will be launched in August. The development was confirmed by Rajiv Bajaj, CEO, Bajaj Auto, at the company's annual general meeting, reportedly. The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 is expected to be priced around INR 1.8 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Thanks to the regular appearance of test mules through the course of the motorcycle's development, it's clear now that the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 hasn't changed much in appearance in production form from the concept at Auto Expo 2014. A leaked sketch reaffirmed the same.
While previously it was reported that the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 is based on the Bajaj Pulsar RS200's platform, the new report says that the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 shares its underpinnings with the KTM Duke 390. Also shared with KTM's sub-400 cc motorcycle, will be a modified version of its 373.2 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine.
