Our friends over at Rushlane believe they have spied what they call the NS versions of the Pulsar 150 and 180. Bajaj officials have said that they would unveil new Pulsar models at the Auto Expo 2014.
The Pulsar 200 SS has already been spied numerous times and even rendered.
The 150 NS and the 180 NS are based on the existing Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 models respectively. They have very subtle design changes differentiating them. Both bikes take a high rake at the rear, leading to an elevated rear seat and a lean-forward stance, giving it that necessary sporty look.
As seen on the spyshots above, the 180 NS, or at least what Rushlane thinks is the 180 NS, gets no mudguard or fender on the rear and has a black grab handle. It also gets its taillights mounted on to the body and an aluminium extension for the number plate.
As for the 150 NS, it gets a small fender on the rear and retains the same rear profile as the Pulsar 150. It gets an aluminium grab handle.
Both bikes have a bunch of mechanical similarities, as they are semi-naked towards the rear, with centrally-mounted underbody exhaust and monoshock suspension revealing the swingarm, and both also get drum brakes at the rear.
Towards the front, similarities continue with the same headlamp cluster, telescopic suspension setup, alloy wheels and disc brake setup. Bajaj have also retained the headlamp from the 200 NS.
