Renault has been testing the facelifted Kwid on the roads for a while now. According to a new report, the company will launch the new model in India in September 2019.
Spy media has revealed that the Renault Kwid will get a completely new front-end. Most of the exterior changes will be inspired by the Renault City K-ZE, a pure electric car derived from it for international markets. The most eye-catching new design feature will be a two-tier front light setup, which will include LED DRLs as well. Other changes will cover new V-shaped radiator grille, new wheel caps and tweaked rear combination lamps comprising C-shaped LED tail lights.
The interior design of the Renault Kwid is unlikely to change with the mid-cycle update. One can expect new upholstery and trim, though, in addition to enhancements to the instrument cluster and the MediaNav Evolution infotainment system that was introduced in February this year.

The Renault Kwid's 0.8-litre SCe petrol engine (54 PS/72 Nm) and 1.0-litre SCe petrol engine (68 PS/91 Nm) will likely be upgraded to BS-VI with the mid-cycle refresh. 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual should remain the transmission choices.
