Suzuki launched the Gixxer 250 in India at an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1,59,800* yesterday. The company has also released several accessories for the quarter-litre bike in our market. In this post, we list all these optional items that are available for this model.

Knee Grip Pad Tank Protector
The Knee Grip Pad Tank Protector aims to guard the sides of the fuel tank against scratches that may occur due to friction. It comes in a transparent finish to provide protection without affecting the aesthetics visually.
Tank Pad
The Tank Pad protects the paint of the motorcycle against scratches from belt buckles. The wide design of the Tank Pad offers comprehensive protection to the fuel tank against the damaging elements while adding a sporty look to the quarter-litre bike.
Bumper Brackets (Or Crash Guards)
The Bumper Brackets, more commonly known as crash guards, are designed to save the body panels of the motorcycle in case of a fall. The black paint of the crash guards should merge well with the colour options available for the Gixxer 250.
DC Socket
This optional accessory brings the convenience of an onboard charger to juice-up the electronic devices during the rides. The accessory will come handy during touring to recharge cell phones and navigation devices.
Knuckle Cover
The Knuckle Cover can perform two tasks – protect the rider’s knuckles and save the brake/clutch levers in case of a fall. The Knuckle Covers are a common accessory on off-road-focused motorcycles.
Saddle Bags
Suzuki has also announced a pair of Suzuki branded saddlebags for the Gixxer 250. The soft luggage accessories should also fit other Suzuki products perfectly well.
Skid Plate
The SkidPlate aims to offer extra protection to the engine against taller-than-usual speed breakers or other obstructions that may test the ground clearance of the Gixxer 250. The skid plate does not require the under-cowl removal, thus helping retain the sporty styling of the bike.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has not posted the prices for the accessories on its website but you can get the complete list through a certified outlet near you. The Suzuki Gixxer 250’s direct rival, the Yamaha FZ25, too comes with a wide range of accessories.
