TVS Motor Company has announced a new global event for performance motorcycle enthusiasts – MotoSoul. The motoring event will be held in association with TVS Racing on 18 & 19 October 2019 in Vagator, Goa.

With the event, TVS aims to establish a strong connect with Apache Owners Group as well as performance motorcycle enthusiasts across the world. The MotoSoul will be an annual event. Speaking about the new initiative, Meghashyam Dighole, Head - (Marketing) Premium Motorcycles, TVS Motor Company, said:
MotoSoul is our flagship initiative to create a differentiated platform for our global brand – TVS Apache. The brand has built a strong community of over 3.5 million customers across the globe with our differentiated customer experience initiatives such as Apache Owners Group, Apache Racing Experience & Apache Pro Performance. MotoSoul is a culmination of the Apache Owners experience as well as an opportunity for global performance motorcycle enthusiasts to experience our products, interact with our racers, experts, and be united by their passion for motorcycling.
The two-day event will host gala nights, racing and adventurous activities, along with interactive sessions with national, international racing champions and TVS R&D. MotoSoul will see an exclusive showcase of products from TVS Motor Company.
In other updates, the company is working on BS-VI compliant versions of its existing products, along with new motorcycles and scooters for the Indian market. TVS BS-VI compliant models would reportedly start rolling into the dealerships post-October 2019. The stricter emission norms would come into effect from 1 April 2020. The company will also introduce its first electric vehicle in our market during the same period. A solar-powered hybrid scooter is also lined up for India but it is not likely to arrive before 2022.

On the premium motorcycle front, TVS Motor Company would reportedly unveil the production-spec Zeppelin cruiser at 2020 Auto Expo. The TVS Zepplin concept cruiser, which debuted at 2018 Auto Expo, was equipped with 220 cc single-cylinder engine featuring TVS patented Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) featuring an e-boost option. Apart from the petrol-powered motor, the Zeppelin concept also featured a 1200W regenerative assist motor with 48V Li-ION battery. Other features on the cruiser concept included full LED lighting, upside-down telescopic front forks and tubeless tyre compatible wire-spoke wheels.
