The Dominar 400 and the Pulsar 150 Neon have received the maximum increase while the Avenger 220 Cruise and the 220 Street have remained unaffected from the price revision. The revision in the ex-showroom tags is most likely due to the increasing input cost. Hero MotoCorp, too, recently announced a 1% increase for its entire portfolio.

In more updates, Bajaj Auto will introduce a new entry-level Pulsar in the Indian market, the Pulsar 125, in August. Unlike the Pulsar NS125, which is available in select international markets, the Indian-spec Pulsar 125 will draw styling cues from the Pulsar 150 range. Engine specifications, according to a recent report, would match the numbers on the Pulsar 135 (now discontinued). The 125 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine will deliver 13.68 PS of peak power and approximately 12 Nm of max torque. The Pulsar 125 will most likely feature CBS tech to keep the final prices competitive.

While the companies have increased their ex-showroom prices, the government has proposed a revision of registration fee for all vehicles. The road and transport ministry have proposed to increase the registration fee to INR 1,000 from the existing INR 50 cost, which will result in higher on-road prices.
