The upcoming Suzuki Gixxer 250 will share its underpinnings and mechanical specifications with the Gixxer SF 250. Expect the naked roadster to retail below the Gixxer SF 250's INR 1,70,655 (ex-showroom Delhi) levels.

Months before we get our first look at the Suzuki Gixxer 250, IAB's digital artist has created a rendering to show how it could look like. This model will have the same chassis, hardware and engine specifications as the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.

At the front, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 will likely feature a sharpy designed full-LED headlight similar to that of the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. This headlight will likely have a body-coloured mask and a small plastic visor occupying the space above it.

The cockpit will pack the same instrument console as the full-faired motorcycle. Instead of a clip-on style handlebar, there will most likely be a flat, single-piece unit for a more upright, city-friendly ergonomics.

The fuel tank will use a pair of shrouds on either side to enhance the muscular looks, while an engine cowl will add to the sporty persona of the quarter-litre motorcycle. The tank size will be the same - 12 litres. Other similarities will include split-style seats, split grab rails, LED tail light and the 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Powering the naked roadster will be the familiar 249 cc single-cylinder, 4-valve, SOHC, fuel-injected engine with Suzuki Oil Cooling System that makes 26.5 PS at 9,000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. This engine will be paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Anchoring department will include single discs at the front and back, while the safety net will consist of dual-channel ABS. The shock absorption equipment will comprise conventional telescopic forks and monoshock suspension.
