The Bajaj Avenger 180 Street ABS has been teased ahead of its launch in India. The Avenger 180 Street ABS will have to be introduced within 5 weeks.
Earlier this month, the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise ABS was spied testing in Pune, which too will be officially launched in the coming days. While the Avenger 220 Cruise ABS will cost INR 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Avenger 180 Street ABS could get a price tag of around INR 93,000 (ex-showroom) considering that the non-ABS model retails at INR 86,611 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Similar to the Avenger 220, the Bajaj Avenger 180 Street, too, will receive a single-channel ABS unit with an RLP (Rear-Lift Protection) sensor. Braking duties are carried out by a 260 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum brake. The new safety guidelines mandate all two-wheelers above 125cc to feature ABS as standard, while those below 125cc are required to come with CBS.
Apart from the addition of ABS, we don't expect the Bajaj Avenger 180 Street to feature any changes. Bajaj Auto is reportedly working on the next-generation Avenger range, which will be introduced in 2020. That said, the Avenger 180 Street ABS will continue to be offered in the Spicy Red and Ebony black colour options.
