The Mazda3 (Mazda Axela) will undergo a full makeover for MY2019. Avarvarii has published speculative renderings to show its depiction of the 2019 Mazda3 (2019 Mazda Axela).
The renderings suggest that the fourth-gen Mazda3 would feature an evolutionary design. Mazda previewed it with the Mazda Kai Concept this year, and the renderings apparently borrow cues from it. The redesigned compact hatchback looks a lot more emotional and sensuous with the latest evolution of the KODO design language.
Sports car-like long hood, sleeker headlamps, notably larger radiator grille, more athletic body lines and coupe-like rakish back glass are some of the main design traits of the rendered 2019 Mazda3. Soul Red Metallic is the car’s exterior colour. To get a fair idea of the dimensions, the Kai Concept was 4,420 mm long, 1,855 mm wide and 1,375 mm tall.

The next-gen Mazda3 will employ the 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-X, the world’s first commercial engine to use compression ignition. This new engine will offer a high level of responsiveness and torque acceleration as well as enhanced fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. Of course, for seeking volumes, there’s no denying the availability of the traditional diesel engines and smaller capacity and less advanced petrol engines. Latest reports say that Mazda has also planned a low-production hydrogen fuel cell variant of the next-gen Mazda3.
The next-gen Mazda3 will debut in 2018, but its specific launch timeline is to be known.
