SsangYong introduced its entry-level SUV Tivoli in December 2014, and now, it is working on giving it a facelift. sisunnews.co.kr has posted spy shots of the 2018 SsangYong Tivoli (facelift) that partially reveal its exterior and interior details.
The 2018 SsangYong Tivoli will likely feature small design revisions usually brought with mid-cycle updates, such as a new grille, reshaped bumpers and tweaked headlamps and tail lamp graphics. The above spy shot shows how SsangYong has changed the headlamp cluster with the facelift.
Moving to the interior, the 2018 SsangYong Tivoli features a redesigned centre console. It makes the cabin look urbane and cleaner. SsangYong has reduced the number of buttons for the latter effect. Horizontal air vents have replaced the vertical air vents and the centre console is more car-like now.
The SsangYong Tivoli comes with two engines: 1.6-litre e-XGi160 naturally aspirated petrol and 1.6-litre e-XDi160 turbocharged diesel. The petrol engine produces 128 PS and 160 Nm of torque and 115 PS and 300 Nm of torque. With the mid-life update, the B-SUV could gain Mahindra’s new 140 bhp (141.94 PS) 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine.

While the SsangYong Tivoli receives a facelift in South Korea later this year in India, Mahindra will launch a reskinned and shortened version of the SUV - the Mahindra S201. Interior spy shots suggest that the Mahindra S201 is based on the current Tivoli, and not the facelift.
