The Maruti Ciaz was previously reported to get a facelift in August this year. A new report from GaadiWaadi claims that the 2018 Maruti Ciaz’s market launch is in October.
As seen last year with the Maruti S-Cross, the Maruti Ciaz will likely gain minor exterior changes, concentrated at the front. Spy shots have shown the facelifted Maruti Ciaz featuring new radiator grille, revised lower intake and a restyled bumper. On the sides, the 2018 Maruti Ciaz may feature new 16-inch alloy wheels. The refreshed rear-end comprises a restyled bumper and tweaked tail lamps.
The Maruti Ciaz’s K14B 1.4L petrol will get phased out with the mid-cycle refresh. The 2018 Maruti Ciaz will come with a new 1.5L petrol engine, the unit powering the 2018 Suzuki Ertiga, while a new 1.5L diesel engine developed by Suzuki will eventually take the place of the 1.3L DDiS engine.
