The Hyundai Elantra will incorporate the brand's signature Cascading grille with the facelift.

The new Hyundai Elantra will feature revised fascias bringing tweaked headlamps with LED DRL at the top, Cascading grille and a restyled bumper. On the sides, newly designed alloy wheels are expected. At the rear are new LED tail lamps and a restyled bumper. The license plate recess is on the bumper instead of the tailgate. A recent report had said that the turn indicators at the front and rear get relocated to the bumper.

The Hyundai Elantra’s interior may see new trim and upholstery, some additional convenience features and enhancements to the infotainment system and the MID. Getting to the engine line-up, a new petrol unit is planned on the mid-life update. It’s the SmartStream G1.6 petrol engine that debuted in 2018 Kia K3 (2019 Kia Forte). This engine develops 123 PS and 15.7 kg.m (154 Nm) of torque in the Kia model. It will come linked to the SmartStream IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission), which is a newly-developed CVT with Hyundai’s branding.
