The Royal Enfield 650 Twins (Interceptor and Continental GT 650) were spotted sporting new colour schemes at a dealership in Australia and the bookings have commenced in the United Kingdom, reports Rushlane.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT features black and grey colour scheme, with a yellow pinstripe running across the fuel tank. The Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650 gets a white and red paint job on the fuel tank, while the rest of the bodywork is black. The two motorcycles also sport S&S exhaust system. Royal Enfield has collaborated with S&S to provide aftermarket exhaust for the 650 Twins. The spoke rims for both the motorcycle get black treatment as well. The Continental GT features a single seat while the Interceptor gets a bench seat with diamond type stitching.
The two motorcycles share the 648 cc SOHC parallel twin mill with air and oil cooling. The A2-compliant engine makes 47 PS at 7,100 rpm and 52 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The engine works in tandem with a new 6-speed transmission with slip-assist clutch. Front and rear discs with dual-channel ABS is standard as well. Suspension components include telescopic front fork and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers.
The media site reports that the bikes are likely to cost around INR 3-4 lakh in the Indian market. It was reported in March about the announcement of the tentative pricing of the Royal Enfield 650 Twins in Australia.
