Update - Here's the next-gen Honda Brio in a full selection of body colours.
At the Indonesian International Motor Show 2018, Honda unveiled a new hatchback concept previewing the next-gen Honda Brio. IAB's digital illustrator has created a rendering of the production-spec second generation Brio (codename: Honda 2UA) based on the Honda Small RS Concept.
The front end appears to be an amalgamation of the concept's nose and the 2018 Honda Amaze that premiered at the Auto Expo in India in February. Honda’s upright signature chrome wing takes centre stage at the front, flanked by 2017 Honda Mobilio like headlamps. As depicted by the rendering, the Small RS Concept's transition to production form sees the deletion of the hood scoop, bumper and side extensions, LED strips up front, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler. It also rides on smaller steel rims with wheel covers.
Honda has not officially confirmed that the Small RS Concept will transform into the second generation Brio. However, with a model change for the Brio due in 2018-19, and unmissable similarities in certain sections of the exterior and general dimensions of the concept and current Brio, it is all but certain that the second gen Honda Brio is based on the concept.

Honda took an unconventional path unveiling the second generation sedan (Amaze) before the hatchback (Brio). While the hatchback may not be a priority for Honda in India owing to poor sales, the Honda Brio remains an essential as it fills up the white space below the Honda Jazz internationally.
