Two months after the Indian-spec 2018 Hyundai i20, the Euro-spec 2018 Hyundai i20 is officially out. The facelifted model has a refreshed design and is more efficient and safer.
The Euro-spec 2018 Hyundai i20 looks almost the same as the Indian-spec 2018 Hyundai i20. It features the Cascading grille, new bumpers, new alloy wheels, reworked tailgate with integrated license plate and new tail lamps. The sportier look comes courtesy the smoked headlamps and front fog lamps and black mirrors. Also worth noticing is that the Euro-spec version’s tail lamp clusters have a different design.
The facelifted Hyundai i20’s engine options include 75 PS 1.2L petrol, 84 PS 1.2L petrol, 100 PS 1.0L T-GDI petrol and 120 PS 1.0L T-GDI petrol. These options are not new. Hyundai has dropped the 100 PS 1.4L petrol engine and the 4-speed automatic transmission. In place of the latter, there’s a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission now, available optionally with the T-GDI engines.
