The Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG5 has been spied again, and Autocar India reports that the bookings have commenced unofficially.
The updated Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG5 costs INR 91,147, while the previous generation bike costs INR 88,800. Both prices on-road, Mumbai. This translates into a price difference of INR 2,347. The ex-showroom, Mumbai price of the UG5 reportedly stands at around INR 76,000, while the earlier model costs INR 74,074.
The 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150 UG5 has a design language that is similar to the current generation Pulsar 180. The bike features split seats, with split grab handles. The rear comes with a 230 mm disc, and the front end gets a larger, 260 mm disc borrowed from the 180.

The 180’s 37 mm front fork does duty in the 150 UG5. Rear suspension includes twin Nitrox shock absorbers. The design of the graphics on the bodywork is similar to the Black Pack Edition. While the engine will be the same as the existing bike, expect a marginal increase in output. At present, the 149cc DTS-I engine generates 14 PS at 8,000 rpm, and 13.4 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Transmission is a 5-speed unit. The new bike misses out on kick-start lever too.
The 2018 Bajaj Pulsar 150 rivals the Honda X-Blade, TVS Apache RTR 160, and Suzuki Gixxer. Expect the official launch to conclude in days.
