The Ford EcoSport Storm 4WD’s exterior and interior has leaked online in spy shots published by Autopapo and Tracionando. The production Ford EcoSport Storm will arrive in Brazil three years after the Ford EcoSport Storm concept debuted at 2014 Sao Paulo Auto Show.
The Ford EcoSport Storm features a number styling changes for a more rugged exterior. At the front, it gets a unique radiator grille with Raptor-style ‘STORM’ lettering and a repositioned Ford logo, distinctive skid plate, a slimmer bumper with more body cladding, darkened headlamps and black hood decals.
On the sides, the Ford EcoSport Storm features flared fenders, a black decal with ‘STORM’ branding and black ORVMs, alloy wheels and beltline moulding. The SUV’s rear-end gets its tougher character with a differently designed bumper and a special spare wheel cover with ‘STORM’ branding in the middle. On the top, there are black roof rails and black roof racks. Teaser images suggest that Ford will offer a sunroof optionally.
The Ford EcoSport Storm has a two-tone interior with black as the theme colour and orange highlights on the door panels and the centre console. Like multiple exterior elements, the leather seats have ‘STORM’ lettering on them.
