Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has launched the 2018 Suzuki Gixxer and the 2018 Suzuki Gixxer SF range in the country. The dispatches for the 2018 Suzuki Gixxer and the 2018 Suzuki Gixxer SF range have commenced and the bikes are available across dealerships.
The Gixxer costs INR 80,928, and Suzuki has priced the Gixxer SF at INR 90,037. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. The 2018 range comes with new graphics. The Moto GP inspired Metallic Triton Blue Gixxer SF model features Ecstar logo as well. The two bikes are available in a new colour scheme: Candy Sonoma Red/ Metallic Sonic Silver, besides the Glass Sparkle Black. The Japanese brand showcased its 2018 range at the Auto Expo last month. The 2018 Suzuki Gixxer and the 2018 Suzuki Gixxer SF continue to use the previous generation bike’s engine. The 154.9 cc SOHC mill puts out 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm, and 14 Nm at 6,00 rpm. It pairs with a 5-speed gearbox, and the Gixxer SF comes with fuel injection and single-channel ABS as an option. The two motorcycles rival Honda CB Hornet 160R, TVS Apache RTR 160, Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 and the Yamaha FZ-S FI.
