The 2018 Perodua Myvi's front-end has partially leaked online in a spy shot posted by Carlist.my. The all-new Perodua Myvi could debut at Malaysia Autoshow 2017 this week.
With the complete redesign, the Perodua Myvi will enter its third generation. The spy shot reveals that it features redesigned headlamps, resculpted hood and remodelled bumper. The all-new Myvi has a sloping roofline, a notably sleeker greenhouse and five double-spoke alloy wheels. That is considering that the white car far back in the spy shot is also the same model. The small hatchback has grown dimensionally. The current Myvi is 3,695 mm long, 1,665 mm wide and 1,570 mm. It has a 2,440 mm wheelbase.
Earlier reports suggested that the next-gen Perodua Myvi will look like a reskinned version of the Daihatsu Boon. However, that is probably not the case, it seems. Maybe Perodua has utilised only the Daihatsu Boon's platform. The company will likely employ the Perodua Bezza’s 1NR-VE 1.3-litre Dual VVT-i engine and the Toyota Vios’ 2NR-FE 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i engine in the all-new Myvi.
