Astra Honda Motor has launched the 2018 Honda Scoopy in Indonesia. The scooter comes with new colour choices and graphics.
The Honda Scoopy has been in the Indonesian market for seven years. For 2018, it comes in seven new colours, in Sporty and Stylish variants. The Stylish variant features minimal graphics, with clean design lines. Stylish Matte Red and Stylish White, add to the already-existing Stylish Matte Brown and Stylish Black. The Sporty variant comes with Black alloys, and has chequered graphics on the side body panels for a youthful appeal. It is available in three colours: Sporty White, Sporty Red and Sporty Black.

The 2018 Honda Scoopy features LED projector headlight, anti-theft alarm with answer-back system, power charger in console box, and a 15-litre underseat storage box. The Scoopy draws power from a 108.2 cc single cylinder engine with fuel injection. It generates 9.1 PS at 7500 rpm and 9.4 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. It gets an Idling Stop system as well. Fuel efficiency figure stands at 59 km/l as per ECE R40 testing method.

The new 12-inch wheels are shod with 100-section front and a 110-section rear tubeless tyres. Suspension bits include telescopic front fork and a single rear shock absorber. The front disc and the rear drum come with Combi Brake System. The 2018 Honda Scoopy costs IDR 17,800,000, on-road Jakarta. The brand has a sales target of 720,000 units per year.
