Dacia has unveiled the 2018 Dacia Duster (2018 Renault Duster) to the media in France. Here is the new Duster from Renault's Technocentre from Guyancourt, courtesy Romanian news portal Automarket.
The 2018 Dacia Duster features an evolutionary design, a move Duster fans will much appreciate. Dacia has not released the dimensions yet. However, from the pictures, substantial changes from outgoing model are unlikely. The first-gen model is 4,316 mm long, 1,822 mm wide and 1,630 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 2,673 mm.
Dacia is yet to release the details and specifications of the 2018 Duster. The low-cost SUV continues riding on the Logan/B0 platform as its basis through the second generation. Base models should still have a front-wheel drive drivetrain layout, with a 4x4 system available only in the upper-tier configurations to retain the bargain entry pricing. Once again, Dacia may offer engines with displacements ranging from 1.2- to 2.0-litre. These would include the familiar 1.2-litre TCe engine as the frugal petrol unit, as well as a new 1.6-litre dCi diesel engine replacing the 1.5-litre dCi unit.

The 2018 Dacia Duster will have its public debut at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA 2017) on 12 September, 2017 where its specifications and interiors will be formally revealed. It should reach the European markets in late-2017 or early next year. UK sales launch will take place in Spring 2018. Renault will launch the new generation Duster in India only in 2019, though.
