According to a report from BikeAdvice, the Royal Enfield Continental GT has clocked only three units in the month of November, this year.
The website reports that in July this year, the brand sold 76 units; and then in September, the sales went down to 66 units. In October, the sales further declined to 26 units, before plummeting to 3 units last month. As per the monthly SIAM data, not once the motorcycle crossed 100 unit sales since November 2016. The Royal Enfield Continental GT was launched in November 2013. It bears the distinction of being the most affordable cafe racer; apart from the fact that the bike is the fastest and lightest Royal Enfield at present.

In comparison, KTM sold 419 and 430 units of the 250 Duke and the 390 Duke respectively, in the month of November. While there is no official word about the discontinuation of the Continental GT, its sales numbers hint at its impending demise. However, a bigger bike, the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 will enter our shores in the summer of 2018. The motorcycle will cater to the enthusiasts who are looking a bit more power from a cafe racer, at the same time being affordable enough.
