A red colour variant of the Bajaj Dominar 400 has been spotted at a dealership. Apart from the new colour, the bike does not have any mechanical changes.
The frame, pillion grab handle, swingarm, footpegs, and the handlebars have a silver finish. It was reported in August that the future of the Twilight Plum colour is uncertain. Bajaj added a new Matte Black colour in July. As of now, the Dominar is available in Matte Black, Moon White, Midnight Blue, and Twilight Plum. The new colour variant could help the bike garner better sales in the domestic market. In October, it was reported that over half of the Dominar’s volumes go to the export market.

Apart from the colour changes, the mechanical underpinning of the motorcycle remain the same. The 373.3 DTS-i mill mated to a 6-speed gearbox produces 35 PS of maximum power and 35 Nm of peak torque. Key features include LED headlamp, reverse back-lit LCD instrumentation, slipper clutch and stamped metal swingarm.
