The Dominar 400 employs a 373.3cc single cylinder SOHC mill with liquid cooling and fuel injection.

The website reports that the engine will be an all-new unit, and could generate 40 bhp of power. As per the website, the bike may be the 400 cc Pulsar RS. The engine will reportedly feature in-house-developed ECU, triple spark technology, and gearing. The website’s source has also revealed that a new 110cc commuter brand with a new 110cc engine is in the works. It would rival popular bikes like the Honda Livo, Dream Yuga, TVS Victor, and Hero iSmart 110. Bajaj’s S Ravikumar has recently revealed that two major launches are in the pipeline for the month of January next year. It is possible that one of the two bikes will be from the Avenger brand.

However, Bajaj has not revealed more details about the impending launches. The company recently launched the Pulsar Black Pack Edition commemorating 1 crore global sales of the Pulsar brand. Its first bike under the Bajaj-Triumph partnership will reportedly be a 500cc single and may enter the market in 2021. Currently, the Dominar is the brand’s flagship model, but if the reports are true, the new 400 cc bike will enhance the brand’s premium quotient.
