Earlier this week, the 2019 Jeep Renegade was spied for the first time. In the latest, spy shots published by Instagram user renegadejeeps have leaked the facelifted Jeep Renegade's exterior and interior.
The 2019 Jeep Renegade appears to have a slightly slimmer radiator grille, LED headlamps including a LED signature ring, repositioned fog lamps and turn signals and restyled bumper. The new headlamps’ rectangular cluster and DRL ring are borrowed from the 2018 Jeep Wrangler (JL). The new turn signals look bigger in length. Inside, Jeep has revised the centre console.
Mechanical changes due with the mid-cycle refresh are currently unknown. Jeep offers the current Jeep Renegade with a variety of engines in 1.4- to 2.4-litre capacities and in petrol, petrol-ethanol and diesel fuel options. Transmission choices include 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed dual-clutch automatic and 9-speed automatic. Power goes to the front wheels as standard, but the Jeep Active Drive and Jeep Active Drive Low 4x4 systems are available in select configurations. Jeep could introduce a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine option in the 2019 Renegade.
