Jeep has revealed the 2019 Jeep Cherokee ahead of its NAIAS 2018 debut in January next year. The facelifted Jeep Cherokee features a slew of styling changes and other updates.
The most notable change on the Jeep Cherokee with the facelift is the adoption of conventional headlamps. The new model swaps the two-tier headlamp setup with a single headlamp unit positioned conventionally comprising the headlight, the LED DRL strip, and the turn indicator together. Other visual changes at the front include restyled bumper, new fog lamp housing and resculpted hood.
At the rear, the 2019 Jeep Cherokee features tail lamps with new graphics, redesigned tailgate, repositioned license plate (now on the tailgate), reshaped fog lamps, restyled bumper and dual trapezoidal exhaust pipes. Inside, the mid-size SUV looks largely unchanged, except some minor revisions to the floor console. The Uconnect infotainment system now supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The pre-facelift Jeep Cherokee came with 2.4-litre MultiAir inline-four cylinder and 3.2-litre Pentastar V6 petrol engines. The facelifted Jeep Cherokee should gain the new 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four cylinder petrol engine (270 hp/400 Nm). For an official confirmation, however, we will have to wait until the 2019 Jeep Cherokee debuts next month.
