Honda is showcasing the 2017 CR-V Modulo at the ongoing Thai Motor Expo. The SUV comes with additional accessories part of one of the three Modulo packages on offer. The Honda CR-V Modulo Sport package pictured here is priced at THB 49,500 (~INR 97,861).
The Honda CR-V Modulo Sport package includes a front aero bumper, rear aero bumper, side running board, tailgate garnish, and a changed front grille with large hexagonal mesh motif. Honda also offers other accessories including door mirror garnish, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, cross bar, LED fog lights, rear bumper protector, side stop LED, and chrome exhaust tip.
Honda offers the CR-V with two engine choices. There's a naturally aspirated 2.4 L i-VTEC petrol that produces 173 PS and 224 Nm mated to a CVT. The Honda CR-V diesel is equipped with a 1.6 L 2-Stage Turbo i-DTEC unit that churns out 160 PS and 350 Nm. A 9-speed automatic transmission is tasked with sending power to either the front wheels or all four wheels depending on the variant.
The base petrol variant is priced at THB 1,399,000 (INR 2,765,795) while the 4WD variant costs THB 1,549,000 (INR 3,062,342). The Honda CR-V 2WD and 4WD diesel variants are priced at THB 1,549,000 (INR 3,062,342) and THB 1,699,000 (INR 3,358,890) respectively.

Honda intends to launch the new CR-V in India sometime next year. Like the Thai market, there will be petrol and diesel variants on offer with a 7-seat configuration. Prices are expected to start at around INR 25 lakhs (ex-showroom).
