Hot on the heels of first ever spy pictures of the 2018 Daihatsu Terios and 2018 Toyota Rush come images of internal documentation revealing the front and rear bumper design of the upcoming compact SUV.
While the overall profile of the next-gen Terios/Rush looks similar to the Daihatsu FT Concept from the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, the lower section of the front bumper bears resemblance to the Daihatsu DN Mutlisix Concept's bumper. There are wedge-shaped fog lamp enclosures sandwiching a trapezoidal air intake in the lower part of the bumper. The leaked image also shows a large grille quite like the one we saw on the last iteration of the previous generation Toyota Innova.
The rear bumper mimics the design of the front to some extent with similar wedge shape reflector cut-outs and a trapezoidal shape zone-C. The rear hatch extends all the way down, which will result in the 2018 Toyota Rush (Daihatsu Terios) having a low loading lip.
Two test mules of the compact SUV were spotted testing by AutonetMagz. They appear to be riding on different alloy wheels with one of them wearing dual tone rims.
The 2018 Daihatsu Terios and Toyota Rush will be making their debut next year in Indonesia. There have been talks of TKM bringing the Rush to India, but the same is yet to be confirmed by the company.
