Delhi-based RDx Auto Styling has modified an old Maruti Wagon R to make it a bit more rigid and tough-looking. The final result is called the 'RDxRaider'.
Up front, the Wagon R has round, bright and a simple set of LED headlamps flanking a mesh grille, gloss black bumper and, interestingly, a bull bar fabricated on the front hood. Offering more context to the latter, the owner stated that it is expected to protect the front end in case of an impact; not allowing the bonnet to cave in. Well, we ask that you to decide for yourself.
It requires a specific taste to find it appealing. Not to mention, the engine hood is a crumple zone designed to absorb the energy from an impact. At the side, the front wheel arches seem to be flared, although the wheel size is stock. A similar treatment can be seen at the back, featuring a bar fabricated on to the tailgate and a gloss black rear bumper.
No modifications seem to have been made under the hood or inside the Wagon R. It's powered by a 1.0L BS3 petrol engine with 67 hp and 84 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
