Suzuki Motorcycles India has launched the 2017 Suzuki Gixxer SF SP and the Suzuki Gixxer SP. Suzuki recently launched the Gixxer SF ABS, and the new SP editions further strengthen the brand's portfolio in the 150cc segment.
The SP Series was introduced last yearThe 2017 SP series of the bikes comes with a unique ‘Tri colour combination’ graphics on the sides, fuel tank, and the front cowl. The Gixxer SP gets a unique ‘SP’ logo on the tank cowl. The Gixxer SF SP wears the logo in the fairing. The tail section on the two bikes gets a black and silver finish. Red rim stickers adorn the black alloy wheels. The Gixxer SF SP comes with a single channel ABS and fuel injection. The price of Suzuki Gixxer SF SP stands at INR 99,312, and the Gixxer SP costs INR 81,175, both ex-showroom, Delhi.

The Gixxer SF SP and the Gixxer SP use the 154.9cc single cylinder SOHC engine. It makes 14.8 PS of power at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The Gixxer SF SP comes with fuel injection whereas the naked bike uses a carburettor. A 5-speed gearbox does duty in the bikes. The brochure for the Gixxer SF SP leaked this month, and the features stay true to it.
The bikes get a fully digital instrument cluster with gear position indicator. For suspension, they employ 41 mm front telescopic forks and a 7-step adjustable rear monoshock.
