The Honda CBR250R is retailed in Malaysia as a CBU.
Honda Malaysia has introduced the Honda CBR250R MY2017 model, aimed at leisure and style conscious commuters.
Powering the 2017 Honda CBR250R in Malaysia is a single cylinder 249.67 cc liquid cooled, DOHC mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 27.46 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 23.3 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. In comparison, the Japanese Honda CBR250R produces an output of 29 PS and 23 Nm.

The Malaysian version of the Honda CBR250R has a kerb weight of 161 kg and has a 13-litre fuel tank. It gets low-friction piston rings, and iridium spark plugs to help reduce maintenance costs. The bike gets an 110/70- 17 section tyre up front and a 140/70- 17 specification wheel in the rear.

The 2017 Honda CBR250R measures 2,035 mm in length, 720 mm in width and 1,120 mm in height. The bike will be retailed in three colour options.
The 2017 Honda CBR250R has a price tag of MYR 21,940.94 (INR 3.26 lakhs) for the Black paint scheme and MYR 22,258.94 (INR 3.31 lakhs) for Millennium Red and Lemon Ice Yellow.
